Last Ship's Log
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Well I have been getting good feed back on my podcast and things seem to be off to a good start. I found a current theme of some of the comments was that it is a rather sedate and personal show. Hmmm? My questions for anyone out there who cares to give me their input is this. I get the sedate part, I don't think anyone wants to be put to sleep but is it a problem the personal part? I realize after doing the last podcast that I was more personal than I had intended. Although I don't think I could tell the story I told without getting personal and even as you will hear at the end of the show rather emotional. That is just the nature of those kinds of stories. I do have the story teller gene in my blood you know. I don't think I would have started this project if that was not the case. Well please everyone let me in on your thoughts I really would like to know. Click on the mail to link and let me have it. Good or bad what ever you think. Don't be shy.
On to other topics: I found something very interesting on Red Ice Creation's forum. An old thread on the God-like-productions forum was stirred up by a mysterious post from out of nowhere. This is the post that was on the Red Ice forum: Someone named diinero posted this:
While the new forum is created, here is something interesting to read.

----- The Revelations of an Elite Family Insider
Something fascinating happened on a forum in a span of a few days and it has caused quite a stir in certain parts of the Internet. A person by the moniker of Insider claimed he was from a ruling bloodline and gave the people a chance to ask everything they wanted and Insider would answer.
At first it looks like another internet hoax, some lightweight questions were followed by lightweight answers, but then things started changing drastically. Anyone who understands dialectics knows that the answers Insider gave were designed to force/provoke others to ask questions which went to the core of the matter. First some questions are being asked by Insider like "Are you really living on the planet you think you are?" which made people react differently than before.
The answers this person started giving to those following questions showed a deep, broad understanding of philosophy, history, metaphysics, religion, magic, politics, and more in a way which is very innovative, detailed and some answers are thought provoking to say the least. What amazes is that Insider answered these questions in a very short time span and if you keep in mind that the topics are diverse, some in depth and some epic answers showed up literally minutes apart, one must wonder how it was done. Copy/paste from internet? I checked intensively and the sentences Insider used cannot be found on internet. Like one person observed, this was way over the heads of the usual suspects.
Some people started getting upset, others were drawn to it and this all lead to a dialogue where so much was revealed, including by the other posters that it can be studied for years to come.
Sounds hard to believe? Read on. I don't recommend this site GLP really I found most arguments pretty dense and unintelligent. But the thread started by this so called Insider was very different. Now the Elite Family Insider whether "Elite" or not is really not the reason I was so interested in reading this PDF. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=C4A0PPRO It is the insight and wisdom that he imparted. If this was a hoax, in that this person was not who he said he was, that doesn't seem to matter to me much. What he wrote is very thought provoking and intelligent, in my opinion. I think if it is a clever hoax then it was in the traditional way of the classic trickster of our indigenous legends. He defiantly got the attention of the readers and tricked some of them at least into awareness. If you check it out let me know what you thought I will cover some of this in the next podcast. You all can give me input and I will share it as well. Until next time I hope all are well and having a fantastic start to the New Year! A
12-11-2007 Rescuing the term Psychonaut?. What is in a name? A lot I would say, although not the thing its self it's a first impression. We may not like it but it is one of the first ways to begin to know a thing by the feelings of our first impression. So when naming this web site I gave it hours upon hours of thought. Thinking I had stumbled upon a perfect name. The Psychonautilus, its perfect I thought, its cool. Having known of the word psychonaut from reading something but what I can't remember what. I looked it up on the Wikipedia. I knew instantly that it was the proper term for me having found none that really fit as well. This was the line that convinced me that this was the best one word description for the path I had taken in life. "A psychonaut (from the Greek ψυχοναύτης, meaning literally a sailor of the mind/soul) is a person who uses trance technologies from any of the world's religions, modern psychology, meditation, and other assorted paradigms, to explore the psyche, their own consciousness, and potentially improve real performance of certain psychological tasks. The term is often associated with the use of hallucinogens or entheogens as guides, or means, to achieve inward spiritual experiences. This is quite distinct from religious use, or social and leisure use of drugs, although these can overlap."
Now that was it, so I built my site using that name. I had built this site and posted it on the web before looking at any of the other sites using the name Psychonaut. So I went on a google tour of the psychonaut sites. This is when I became disenchanted with my great idea. Almost every site out there was about nothing other than the drugs and or entheogens. I guess I should not have been too surprised as it is the more sensational and notorious aspect of the psychonaut. Even worse there were discussions on some forums with topics like: " Should one mix meditation with the use of psychotropics?" ????! Then I found a pod cast with a guest speaking about how all meditation and spiritual work done without the aid of drugs was and I quote "bunk!" Bunk? Was this guy for real?
To me this was very depressing and I had grave doubts that anyone out there would understand my use of the word psychonaut. I would be lumped in with the happy day trippers and drug fiends like that guy I quoted above. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against day trippers and recreational use of psychedelics. I have very fond memories of those kind of experiences also. I am just saying that you can take it much, much deeper than that. Psychedelics, entheogens, psychotropics, what ever you like to call them, they can lead to very real and deep spiritual experience. But for a true psychonaut (a sailor of the soul) that is just the beginning and only one part of the journey!
Well I again thought long and hard about using this as the name of the site. I started to think about what other monikers I could use that would describe what I was all about. Psychonaut seemed so perfect. I have for a long time studied the "trance technologies" and meditation. Although I have studied many of the worlds religions I have never followed any one form or technique. Though I have found great teaching and wisdom within them I have found my own path to be the only true path for me. I don't call myself a Shaman or Medicine Man although I was taught the medicine ways by a highly respected traditional Arapaho Medicine Man. At the same time actively participating in hundreds of the peyote and sweat lodge ceremonies of the Native American Church, for at least seventeen years. I have also had numerous experiences with the other more common entheogens traditional and contemporary. And even though I have extensive practice and training in many of the ancient traditional medicine ways to actually become a medicine man as my teacher was took him 30 years of specific training from his elders. I don't call myself a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner although for six years I studied and was certified in that particular discipline. I have also studied many Asian martial arts and subtle energy techniques like Qigong and Aikido.
What is a name? What is a tittle? So many names and titles are used just to dress the ego up and to hide behind. I am just myself and I am searching for a true experience. I am searching for truth.
I was born this life time into a typical American family in Oklahoma. Even though we have American Indian heritage as well as European we are just as white as the average white family in Oklahoma. I began to search for answers to the deep questions that formed my experiences at a very young age. I began my journey into the spirit realm and this quest to understand the world we live in. That is the same journey I am on today and I will still be on this journey when I cross over from this life time. So I'm a Psychonaut. But what I found very depressing is the limits that are being put on this term psychonaut. For the term to just mean one who uses strange drugs and plants is just way too shallow. Is that what it is to be a sailor of the soul? Just getting high. Come on people. Wake up!
I can understand someone who has been brain washed by some strict dogmatic religious upbringing to be stuck and limited in that way. But it is hard to imagine that someone who has braved the horizons of their mind and gone beyond common boundaries of perception being so limited. They should know better. Ok so I am reclaiming the name Psychonautilus! I claim it to mean an unlimited, fearless sailor of the soul. Unbound by convictions by predetermined ideas and restricted concepts of perception. I also really like the Jules Verne connection. Combining Psychonaut with the Nautilus of the famous Jules Verne's novel Twenty Thousands Leagues Under the Sea. To me the idea came like this. The Nautilus being the ship that went to battle against the oppressive governments, slave runners and warmongers of the world. Then combined with Psychonaut (a sailor of the soul) to me this means that my rebellion is a soul rebellion, a nonviolent revolution of consciousness. To over come the war on consciousness by becoming conscious. So I am the captain of the Psychonautilus.
Ship's log: 11-20-2007 What is a Psychonaut? What does it mean when I say that "The Psychonautilus is an interdimensional research vessel"? Take the word Psychonaut and blend it with Jules Verne's famous submarine the Nautilus. There you have it, A psychonaut (from the Greek ψυχοναύτης, meaning literally a sailor of the soul) is a person who uses trance technologies from any of the world's religions, modern psychology, meditation, and other assorted paradigms, to explore the psyche, their own consciousness, and potentially improve real performance of certain psychological tasks. The name Psychonautilus came to me while brain storming about what to name the site. Combining Psychonaut with the Nautilus of the famous Jules Verne's novel Twenty Thousands Leagues Under the Sea. To me the idea is like this: The Nautilus being the ship that went to battle against the oppressive governments, slave runners and warmongers of the world. Then combined with Psychonaut (a sailor of the soul) to me this means that my rebellion is a soul rebellion, a nonviolent revolution of consciousness. To over come the war on consciousness by becoming conscious. On my website I am hoping to shed a little light on the word Psychonaut as well. Much of what I have found on the internet, uses it to mean, one who practices the use of psychotropics or entheogens. I would like to get the message out that there is a lot more to it. Why limit the tools of the psychonaut to just that of drug or plant use. There are many very real and effective tools of spiritual soul travel and exploration that must come into the equation if one is to become a truly unlimited adventurer of this multiverse. The use of psychotropics or entheogens is important and valid it is just that, to me, that is only the beginning. They only open the doors for you, they wont do your work for you. They can give you a glimpse of your possibilities. If you want to become a truly experienced psychonautical pilot then you have to find your way back on your own . On my podcast I will focus on these types of techniques and discuss in depth my experiences and hopefully interview many other spiritual adventurers and Psychonauts along the way. I really don't want to get bogged down in any one area I want to have the freedom to go where ever the road leads with this. One area of the entheogen experience that I have observed many times is the mysterious effect that they can have on others with in the proximity of the experiencer. I wrote a letter a while back to Professor Michael Persinger as a response to his study of brain chemistry and psychotropic drugs. He called it "Psychotropic drugs and nature of reality". He is working with an electronic helmet that supposedly can create the same type of experiences as psychotropics. In his conclusions he links together all psychic and spiritual phenomenon and even the alien abduction experience as simply affects caused by brain chemistry. He never wrote me back. He might have been busy or he might have had a problem with an arrogant uneducated psychonaut trying to tell him what was wrong with his thesis. I gave it a try anyway.
This is the letter I wrote:
Response to "Psychotropic drugs and nature of reality" by Professor Michael Persinger: Dear Professor Persinger, I find your work to be very interesting yet I have some problems with your conclusions. I have no problem with your basic brain chemistry thesis. I understand that brain chemistry and psychotropic drugs have such chemical similarities that to the brain they are basically identical. I understand that the chemical receptors are already in the brain that's why we feel the affects of these drugs. I find no problem with your analysis of the brain and its functions where I depart from your thesis is in your conclusions. I find that here, as many scholars before you have done, you have the tendency to simply speculate about how the mind interprets brain chemical reactions. (to me these are separate entities mind and brain) There are many points I feel you have over looked that simple brain chemistry can not easily explain. This is possibly due, I believe, to the effect isolation has on studies within the confines of a university system. Actual life experiences can not and never will be able to be reproduced in a laboratory. First I have to ask two questions. 1: How much time have you spent with the helmet on yourself? 2: Have you ever experienced any of the psychoactive substances you refer to in your study? How you answer these questions will shed some light on how much of your conclusions can be attributed to speculation. I am aware that a scientific reason for not having tried either can be made. From my point of view though, if none of these have been tried by you personally I can't see how any actual conclusions can be made. It is akin to someone writing a travel journal for someplace they have never been. Without extensive experience with both all comparisons are basically coming from second hand knowledge. If these have simply been tasted then I would say it is likely the same travel journal has been written. Except for now it has been written about the view from the airport or maybe the hotel without any real depth in exploration. My real problem with your conclusions is, from what I've read and seen, the lack of any reason given for external phenomenon. I am referring to your lumping together all sorts of what we call mystical experiences, I.E. drugs, alien abductions and divine visions. I could agree with the notion that a alien abduction experience is highly questionable as to the dream like circumstances of most reports. If that were the end of it I could see that one could easily make a brain chemistry argument for the experience. Unfortunately it is just not that simple. What of the thousands actually millions of eye witness that are seeing what we call "UFO's" in large groups at the same time and in multiple locations. As well as multiple video cameras recording the same event. One case in Mexico City even has the major news crews filming the event in broad daylight as many others with their video cameras film along side them. How can brain chemistry explain that the governments of France, England, Mexico and Brazil as well as others have come forth with information collected as far back as 1947 on the phenomenon. These reports include photography, video and radar reports all very material and external forms of verifiable data. In some very rare cases even physical evidence. I understand that the abduction experience by itself looks at face value to be a purely mental phenomenon. One could easily attribute the brain chemistry argument to the cause if it were that simple. It is just not that simple. So then one is faced with your next assumption in that all God associated or spiritual experience is again simply brain chemistry going wild. Well again I am looking at the external phenomenon which brain chemistry alone could never fully explain. While most spiritual experience is by its nature a very personal experience it is rare that there is external phenomenon to go along with it. Although there are some recorded events that come to mind, I will skip this issue and give you that one for now. I would rather go on to one of my favorites and discuss the psychotropics. Ok and now for the psychotropic drug issue. If as you say it is all in the head then there could never be any effects that could influence things outside of the mind/body perspective. In my extensive experience that is just not the case. I personally have experienced many cross over events. Please explain if you will how two people can see the same so called "hallucination"? Or how the drug experiencer can have an affects on things like animals and people who have not taken the drugs but are simply in the proximity of the drug experiencer. I am referring to what is commonly called the contact high. Or as in many cases I have observed, there can be an actual affect on weather patterns. I am currently writing a book on the many experiences like this that I have had. I will give you an example of just one that I believe can not be explained simply by brain chemistry. One year (1983 I think) at a very large party on the Stanford University campus in California. It was our intention to pay tribute to The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test of the early LSD pioneers. We had very large doses of LSD in apple juice as well as Psilocybe cubensis on hand for all who wanted to partake. Oh and of course copious amounts of marijuana as well. There was at least three hundred people who came to this party and I would roughly estimate more than half had at least one of the psychedelic substances provided. Those that I knew as well as myself enjoyed both. Needless to say I have rarely seen this many people tripping out of their gourds except for at a Grateful Dead concert. At the beginning of the party a group of us went up to the roof to smoke a joint and meditate, to give thanks and say a short prayer for all the people to have a good time that night. It is our belief that focusing the psychic energy would benefit everyone involved in a positive direction. The phenomenon began while we were on the roof. One of the people on the roof with us, a student of the university, noticed a strange event taking place in the clouds. He pointed to the clouds separating directly above us and compared it to cellular mitosis. He saw it as a cosmic sign of some kind prophetic of the trip we were all embarking on. That in itself would not be extraordinary but being that it was a cloudy and stormy night this was the only place in the clouds now that you could see the stars. Still not an event worth mentioning until it became clear that this anomaly was to remain the entire night. At anytime throughout the night you could look up and see stars in a crystal clear sky while the surrounding area was completely filled with dark rolling clouds. Stranger still was, as I said it was a stormy and very windy night, you could see the clouds moving. They would roll in towards the house then separate and move around the space above the house in a perfect circle and then close up again after passing the space directly above the house. This took place all night long never changing until the storm passed and the sun had risen on the next day. Ok, so everyone saw this event and commented on its miraculous nature. Many ideas of what it all meant were discussed throughout the next day. Of course I have no evidence of the event and no way of scientifically proving that it ever occurred. Then again I am not a scientist and have no need nor desire of proving anything. I am a spiritual philosopher maybe, a psychonaut definitely, hopefully I defy the limits definition. I have never been a student of any university or any of the so called establishments of higher learning. I feel that this has helped me in many ways and has been to my advantage. I know saying this to a college professor is not the best way to begin a dialogue but I feel my mind has been untainted by confines of the established education systems. I know I could have benefited a lot from what the universities have to offer but for me being able to think freely is more important than anything I might have missed out on. Plus with all the university educated people I have known it is amazing to me how little of what they learned they have actually retained. Even from the great school of Stanford. Another interesting story I just remembered that happened that same night at the Stanford party is a classic example of a contact high. This party was quite a scene you realize with hundreds of psychedelic tripsters dancing with their painted faces and dilated eyes. The house was an electric cosmic soup bowl that would have made Ken Kesey proud. Well someone evidently called the campus police to shut the party down sometime around 3:00 am. I watched as the cops pulled up in their car and two males and a female charged very authoritatively into the house to shut the party down. I followed right behind them worried that they may be overbearing or abusive. It was as if they walked head first into a wall of psyplasmic pudding. The first words out of their mouths were very strong and forceful but just as if the plug was pulled out of a turn table and a record was slowly coming to a stop so did they. After stuttering the last part of "you will have to turn the music down" they seemed to forget what they came for turned and walked out the door. I followed curiously as they stumbled as if drunk out the door and down the steps. Then instead of heading straight for their car they wandered aimlessly each in their own direction around the lawn for a moment seeming to be lost. As they were out of the house for awhile you could very clearly see them pull themselves together and with puzzled expressions obviously wondering what they were doing in the yard they regained their composure got into their car and left. They never returned and the party raged on until dawn. Now that was what I would call a very clear case of a powerful contact high. The entire event lasted only minutes but all the same they walked into that house and got their brains scrambled. Now I would agree with the brain chemistry assessment of what happened to them. My question is what was the delivery system for they certainly did not ingest any LSD and it only affected them when they were in close proximity to the party. I have witnessed this kind of affect many times especially with animals they seem quite susceptible to the contact high. In my assessment this is definitely caused by psychic connections that trigger a sympathetic brain chemical reaction. I am not questioning the brain chemical action I am suggesting that in many cases it is a reaction instead of an action or cause of experience. It just can't be simply physical chemicals and brain activity. The way it looks to me is that we are living in a quantum multidimensional reality which has physical and chemical correspondences in the body and brain. Although it seems like things in the universe exist separate of other things they don't really. Things are intermingled and share the same space and matter literally. It is spoken of by modern physicist as quantum entanglement. I don't pretend to understand the science of physics or the math. I am speaking purely from experience. What they are describing I have experienced in many different types of circumstances with and without psychotropics or what I think are better termed entheogens. I am very interested in what you think of my experiences and invite your opinion on them. I enjoyed your lectures on You-Tube and look forward to watching others.
Sincerely, Captain of the Psychonautilus
Ship's Log:02 10/25/07 The main focus of my research for the last few years has been fueled by my belief that our spiritual powers of creative manifestation have for thousands of years been usurped by a hidden power structure some call the ruling elite some call them Archons. They are the vampires that have been bleeding the spirit force from the souls of humanity for thousands if not actually millions of years. First lets define "ruling elite" I am most certainly not speaking of Bush or what's his name, you know, the prime minister of the UK. I am not even talking about the queens or kings of any nation. They are puppets they dangle and make dance for our amusement. They have been granted the right to appear to rule. The ones I am speaking of we never see, we never hear their names. We do know that "THEY" exist, their presence is quite apparent in numerous ways. The most obvious way is by their works. They leave a trail of blood, guns, and oil that is not to difficult, for anyone willing, to follow. I am not going to go on in detail about the trails left throughout history by these nefarious sorcerers. There are so many great websites that are doing such fantastic jobs at this I could never compete: http://www.michaeltsarion.com/ http://www.redicecreations.com/ http://thefreemanperspective.blogspot.com/ http:/www.conspiracyarchive.com/
That is just a drop in the bucket of what's out there but those are the websites that I can recommend without any hesitation. I have spent many sleepless nights pouring over the information that they represent. The links in these sites alone could keep you busy literally for years. It has been that way for me now for many years.
What I am building up to is this. These are not secret societies per say yet they are secretive. Everybody has heard of Skull & Bones. Well if you haven't you're sadly out of touch. Ok my point is we don't really know what they do behind closed doors but we know they exist. We know of the Rosicrucian, the Freemasons and the Club of Rome, The Council on Foreign Relations, The Bilderberg group, .... well the list goes on and on so I'll stop here. They do hide things but really not very well it seems. One reason that is most obvious is because they don't have to, most people don't bother looking into things deeply. I think the deeper reason as Freeman has stated many times is that they want you to know. They have their occult reasons for this as a way of soliciting our freewill submission by what I call the subconscious loop hole. (I'll go deeper into that one later) The other reason for this is I think they want you to know. In the back of your mind they want you to feel that they have you pinned down and surrounded. They are saying to us that "we are all powerful so don't f--k with us". What I am thinking here is that the big secret they really don't want you to know is this: They need you to give your power to them. If they were all powerful enlightened beings would they need to control us? I think the truth is they are spiritual vacuums that have found no true power of their own. They are vacant wastelands inside. Maybe they have been trying desperately to fill this void within themselves for centuries and nothing seems to work for them. This is why they have been working so hard for so long to keep our minds and spirits in a cage. If "THEY" have to work that hard to keep us in control well then all the power is still left in our hands. Is it not? They really need us to believe that they are in control. So what I believe most of us are missing is that the power in thought is constant. |
